Informational seminars are held at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month in the IRMH main hospital building, 4th floor Classroom, 1000 36th St. Making the decision to have life-changing weight loss surgery is to be approached with careful, personal reflection. After surgery, it is required to demonstrate an utmost commitment to a new lifestyle that is centered upon behavioral changes, nutritional changes, exercise and personal follow-through. Come to our Monthly Support Group Meetings and meet others who are contemplating weight loss surgery as well as those who have had successful and wonderful outcomes. Our psychologists facilitate our support groups, and representatives from our professional medical staff are always there to answer questions.
