Radio One, Inc. (Radio One) is a radio broadcasting company that primarily targets African-American and urban listeners. As of December 31, 2008, the Company owned 53 broadcast stations located in 16 urban markets in the United States. Its primary source of revenue is the sale of local and national advertising for broadcast on its radio stations. Radio One’s other media acquisitions and investments include an approximate 36% ownership interest in TV One, LLC, an African-American targeted cable television network; a 51% ownership interest in Reach Media, Inc., which operates the Tom Joyner Morning Show, and its acquisition of certain net assets (Giant Magazine) of Giant Magazine, LLC, an urban-themed lifestyle and entertainment magazine. In April 2008, Radio One acquired Community Connect Inc.
