KOST USA is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a self-motivated, punctual, professional, and organized individual who enjoys detailed work and a fast-paced environment. This position is critical to our operation and is an integral part of the Operations team.

Design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfers and materials.
Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties.
Develop mechanical and electromechanical products by studying requirements; researching and testing manufacturing methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for assembling and installation processes.
Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and system capabilities; confirming assembly and installation processes.
Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special services.
Maintain systems and product database by writing computer programs and entering data.
Complete projects by training and guiding technicians.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks participating in professional societies.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Knowledge of pumping and batching systems.
Knowledge of process improvement techniques (i.e. lean manufacturing and Six Sigma).
Knowledge of chemical industry codes and regulations.
Ability to manage various projects simultaneously (i.e. timelines, budgeting, vendor management, stakeholder management, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong oral and written skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in an industrial setting.
Proficient computer skills with solid experience in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D preferred).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
The employee frequently works in high, precarious places and is frequently exposed to heat or cold and risk of electrical shock.
The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
