Responsible for providing business related research assistance and instruction to students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Serve as liaison to assigned subject areas. Participate in collection development and research guide maintenance. Familiarity with business subject research assistance is essential. Technical proficiency with managing e-resources and systems issues is a plus. Schedule is 20 hours/week.
Provide business subject research assistance to library users via chat, email, phone, video.
Provide course-embedded group information literacy instruction via video as needed.
Develop and maintain subject expertise for assigned disciplines.
Maintain subject-related LibGuides.
Participate in library planning, assessment, and evaluation.
Collaborate with staff in peer training and other staff development needs.
Participate in other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:

MLS or equivalent degree from an ALA accredited program.
At least one year of professional experience providing reference and instruction services.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills; ability to work both independently and as a team member on a variety of simultaneous projects.
Ability to communicate with and relate to an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.
Effective business research skills.
Experience providing research assistance to business students in higher ed environments.
Experience providing research assistance and instruction remotely utilizing a variety of appropriate technologies.
